Recently several customers ask me, whether they can make two color molds by single color machine with two sets mold.
Yes, it can . But for example above two color mug mold, not suggest.
Should use two color rotational injection molding machine.
Why?
Well, shrinkage problem. The jointing part of white and blue color, if by single color machine, after white color colored, we need to cool this semi-finished mug, then to put into another set mold to have the second color injecting. During this cooling period, shrinkage occurred. Then jointing line will no good, ugly we can say.
